For more than 35 years, The Wellspring has been part of the Stockport community, supporting people who are experiencing homelessness.
As we reach this milestone, we’re launching our 35 year appeal and asking our community to be part of it.
Over the years, a lot has changed. We’ve grown, adapted and responded to what people need, but at its heart, The Wellspring is still about the same simple thing it’s always been, being there for people when they need somewhere to turn.
Every day we meet people at different points in their lives. Some need practical help like food, showers or clothing, others need support with housing, health or finances, and sometimes it’s just about having someone sit down with you, have a brew, and help you figure out what comes next.
So, as we celebrate 35 years, we’re asking if you can help us keep this going.
We’re inviting people to donate £3.50, £35 or £350, whatever feels right for you, to support the work we do and help us be there for the next person who walks through our doors.
