In 2024, our incredible team of volunteers gave over 38,000 hours to support The Wellspring. This works out on average to be 15 volunteers dedicating 7 hours per day, 365 days a year.

    Below is an example of just some of the things that you could expect to support with as a volunteer at The Wellspring:

    Food Preparation

    Preparation of our hot, nutritious meals twice a day as well as preparing takeaway snack packs.

    Serving Meals

    Serving meals and monitoring food quality.

    Kitchen Support

    Cleaning, disposing of waste and washing dishes.

    Clothes Donations

    Sorting clothes donations into categories and checking conditions.

    Food Donations

    Sorting food donations, checking expiry dates.

    • If you no longer access our service but have done within the last two years speak directly to Aaron at the project
    • You cannot volunteer via this application process if you have accessed our service within the past two years of your application date
    • Over 18 applications ONLY, we do accept DofE, college and student placements – to discuss these further please contact Aaron directly via your college representative.
