DESCRIPTION:Spend a night under the Stockport sky to raise money and awareness for people without homes.It’s a unique event that allows you to get involved in the most active way. \n\n\n\nSpending just one night outside can’t replicate being homeless\, but it can put into perspective how difficult life without a home can be. \n\n\n\nAnybody aged 14+ is welcome to register for this event. For those under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can be responsible for a maximum of two children. \n\n\n\nPlease ensure that you register with us so we can plan for numbers and logistics.The Sleepout LogisticsOnce you register you will receive an email with more instructions on what you can expect and the types of items to bring. In the meantime\, you may want to take a look through our Sleepout Essentials below: \n\n\n\nWhat time does the event start and finish?\nStart: TBCFinish: TBC \n\n\n\n\nWhere are we meeting?\nRegistration will take place at The Wellspring\, Harvey Street\, Stockport SK1 1YD at 6.30pm. \n\n\n\n\nWhere will I be sleeping?\nSt Mary’s church grounds – grass area \n\n\n\n\nWhat do I need to bring with me on my sleep out?\n\nShelter to sleep in and keep you dry – pop-up tent\, large carboard box etc.\n\n\n\nSomething to sleep on\, a roll mat\, blow up mattress\, pillows\n\n\n\nSleeping bag\, quilt\, warm blankets or even a fleece blanket.\n\n\n\nWarm clothing- layering is key\n\n\n\nHat\, scarf & gloves\n\n\n\nThermals\n\n\n\nLighting\n\n\n\nMobile phones – ensure this is fully charged\n\n\n\nFlask – we will fill this up for you at registration\, but refills will not be available.\n\n\n\nBottled water\n\n\n\nPrescribed medication (only bring what you need for the sleepout) as you are personally responsible for them.\n\n\n\nSnacks if you need them\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat will be provided?\n\nAccess to toilet facilities\n\n\n\nInitial flask fill\n\n\n\nAn evening of tasks\, insight & fun!\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for our next Sleepout here.
