Become a volunteer at The Wellspring

Becoming a volunteer at The Wellspring is easy. Simply complete the online application form and return it by email to thewellspring@btconnect.com or post it to The Wellspring Stockport PO BOX 456 Fletcher St Stockport SK1 1WZ or contact The Wellspring on 0161-4776344 and request a application form. The Wellspring has many volunteers whom serve our members in a number of different rolls.

Mainly volunteers work in the kitchen preparing and cooking meals as well as serving meals and drinks. Some volunteers work with the members in the hall, befriending people and giving advice. The Wellspring is very flexible towards its volunteers for instance some volunteers work twice a week, others work once a month.

All new volunteers are invited to attend some induction training which outlines our policies and procedures for volunteers. Other optional training is also available including Food hygiene Certificates, Basic first aid and Training relating to drug issues
