My Work Placement at the Wellspring!
My Name is Emma, and I am a Social Work student at Stockport College on my second year. Part of my degree as well as academic work, I have to do 100 days placement to gain experience in working with people.

My friend Sara has been on placement at The Wellspring before and told me all about it, this is when I decided I would like to do my work placement here. The Wellspring has offered me the chance to work with different people of different ages and life experiences. Also it has given me the chance to practice my social work skills in Communication skills and Interpersonal skills.

Overall I am really enjoying my placement at The Wellspring so far, all the staff are friendly and so are the members who come into the centre.
